From Cohort III Alum to Interim Superintendent: Dr. Miguel Serrano

We proudly congratulate Dr. Miguel Angel Serrano, a graduate of Cohort III, on his appointment as Interim Superintendent of Hondo Valley Public Schools. Dr. Serrano has consistently demonstrated the commitment, vision, and leadership values at the core of the JG Consulting Leadership Academy.

As a member of Cohort III, Dr. Serrano engaged deeply with his colleagues in collaborative learning and professional growth. On the Rise: Current Cohort Member Dr. Joseph Welch Named Assistant Superintendent

We are equally proud to recognize Dr. Joseph Welch, an active participant in the current Leadership Academy cohort, on his appointment as Assistant Superintendent of Kingsville ISD. This new role reflects Dr. Welch’s strong leadership, professional excellence, and dedication to student success.

As a member of the current cohort, Dr. Welch continues to demonstrate the qualities of an emerging educational leader. His advancement into district-level leadership is a clear example of how the Leadership Academy fosters growth and impact in real time. In his new position, he will:
